Hankly Common










Today we Today we hiked up to The Atlantic Wall at Hankley Common and explored the landscape to inform our work. The Common itself is steeped in historical significance as a site for training for D-DAY in 1944. Whilst there, we explored the power of soundscapes, of textures and line, even creating wall hangings from pieces of material that we had brought along for this project. Later in the day, we were allowed to explore the beautiful grounds and I began to explore trees - how they are all very similar yet very different all at once...
