Summary Of The Year
These three pieces (below) have been the most effective and are now resolved, exploring text and the agency of the write word. It opened discussions about the ownership of the author, and who takes ownership of agency and interpretation. I found that this would be a very successful medium to explore, looking at how text opens the dialogue between the art and the viewer. It will be interesting how this idea of automatic writing and obsession will manifest within my practice as I continue to grow.
